The Amero
As S.L. mentioned over here, we are heading towards a one world currency and New World Order. I find it enlightening to know other people think about such things, and ironic that, just one day after me re-addressing this blog and turning it in such a direction, that I see a similar post on the main page. The world is not all blind!
This post has no survival tips, but knowledge, which will help you in your survival. As they say "knowledge is power."
The North American Currency Union is a theorized economic and monetary union of the three principal countries of North America, namely Canada, the United States, and Mexico.[1] Implementation would probably involve the three countries giving up their current currency units (Canadian dollar, U.S. dollar, and Mexican pesos) and adopting a new one, created specifically for this purpose. The hypothetical currency for the union is most often referred to as the amero.[2][1] The concept is modeled on the common European Union currency (the euro), and it is argued to be a natural extension of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP).

I have never liked the 'thrust' for globalization, preferring a more local approach, from like minds being together and understanding each other, working on the principle that it is even hard for families and neighbours to get along.
There's a small group of people in England who have developed their own currency for local trading it seems to work well.
But maybe I'm wrong, but I have yet to feel happy about any type of globalization, be it currency or otherwise.

I just learned about the Amero two days ago. Another step towards the fish and *chip* set of tomorrows one world nation ?
Naw some far out types chant, the galactic council will not let it happen and even now we see the monetary system failing. I hope so, sometime soon .. things looking good in that direction already?
Meanwhile, this Amero is a good attempt to bail America out on Canada and Mexico's reseves do yout think, since all that oil has just been discovered under Alaska?
And Mexico is hailed as the new spiritual centre of the world about to take over from Tibet as the planets energy and magnetic grid shifts?
Its a real shame when you think of how Americas founding fathers tried desperately to break away from the whole central banking system with the invention of the greenback, isnt it.
