How To Tell If You Are Being Followed

If you ever think you are being followed, here are some tips and tricks to find out.

Make two right turns. If someone's still behind you after this, I would set your self from alert to high alert. You haven't done anything suspicious yet, so they don't know you know they're following you.

Make a U-Turn. If they're still behind you, they're following you.

Put on your right turn signal, and make a left turn or go straight.

If you're walking or jogging, drop a random piece of paper. If they pick it up, they're following you.

Any tips on internet stalking?

Love this:

but what if the other car is lost...and it is just coincidence?

and what of the person who picks up the paper you drop, is just an anti-litter freak?

it could be the making for a VERY paranoid day taking all this too seriously.

Besides, they really don't need to follow you any more, if you have a mobile phone, they can track you within three metres from their control room.

if you have a satellite updating rodd map system, same thing.

however, if you have eschewed all technical advantages of the day, and have none of thse things, then maybe your advice would apply in that circumstance..

interesting and amusing post however!

You could however bomb out on the first part of the strategy if the first right hand turn you make takes you into a dead end street!

Very funny post!

Or get to the nearest roundabuot and go around it twice, if they are still there then you are really being followed and you could lose them by making them dizzy.

watch the driver in your mirror, and see how often he checks his mirrors ...if he's following you all his focus is on you

i cant say what i do,but i can tell you these are the basics.the common sense basics.and they work.old school?so what if theyre a little outta date.in my experiences theres little that getting back to the basics cant solve.these tricks are still used today.still tought.and/because they still work.and theyre still used.tech?just because we have it doesnt mean these ol' tricks wont work.satelites wont always work(in variable ways)could brake.loose you, might just not work or find the subject,or something with the controller.satelites only work if someones using and watching them.same goes for trackers.could be found and compromised.could be damaged or unknowingly thrown away.could be functioning fine and for some reason wont trasnmit.and again needs to be monitored.if something goes wrong the person could get away.theres no substitute for live,in person surveillance.if you need to grab the target, you are already there.we all know tech has its limitations.and we all seem to forget it.its like the more we have the dumber we get.my point is all you gus with arguments saying you dont need to follow someone anymore cause we have tech, well youre wrong.tech can be tricked, manipulated.or it might not catch something.these tips are good, and they work.and if any of you ever get into the line of work where this become a skill(which i dont think you will because you arent to bright and you dont think like...a spy,so to speak)you learn there is nothing better than getting back to the basics.its what you were trained for.it keeps it fun.use technoligy, and your job gets boring as hell.
