WoW MoP Warlock Leveling Guide - Don't Waste Any Time Getting To Level 90 In MoP
Leveling A Lock Is Easy
Leveling a Warlock is easy. Their Demon Pets help out a lot but they also get a large variety of damage, fear and AoE spells helping to level them rapidly. The Warlock's Life Tap spell allows health to be turned into mana which allows casting without breaks. If you get low on health you can just use the Drain Life spell. The Demon pet helps by tanking and taking damage while you regenerate life and do damage. Read the rest of this Warlock Leveling Guide for more!
Healthstones And Soulstones
A Warlock’s two secret weapons are their ability to Create Healthstone’s and Soulstone’s. Soulstone’s allow you to resurrect to the spot you died instantly and Healthstone’s return your health instantly if you are getting low.
Start With Affliction
The place to start for the most effective leveling is with an Affliction tree.
Warlock Leveling Build 1-70 Affliction
Learning new spells and enhancing your DoT spells are simple things to do with this talent tree. Improving your Curse of Agony starts you off with this tree. If you want to increase your mana Suppression and Improved Drain Soul will achieve that. Soul Siphon and Improved Life Tap will keep your mana levels from depleting as quickly.
Increase Speed, Range, And Spell Damage
In order to increase your casting ability and speed you can use Amplify Curse and Fel Concentration. On top of that your range and spell damage will increase. If you are in a PvP realm then The Curse of Exhaustion is a great option. Siphon Life and Shadow Mastery are also perks of this talent tree.
If you improve your Felhunter then you will also improve your Dark Pact. Two good spells for damage are Unstable Affliction and Haunt.
Finally reaching Northrend means it’s time to start building your demonology up.
Felguard and Siphon Life are a big part of this mix. Your Demon Pets will improve as you use your DoT’s for damage. The Affliction tree will increase your health and allow you to turn mana into health. There doesn’t have to be any downtime for a Warlock.
Don't Exhaust Your Mana
The reason why you should start with Affliction first is because Demonology uses up too much mana to level you effectively. The Affliction tree helps to conserve your mana and increase the amount of damage you are doing. You can level faster by putting DoT’s on more than one mob with the Affliction tree. Your survival rate increase while your level and talent trees build. Using your DoT spells while your Felguard anks with it’s Cleave increases the amount of damage you deal.
